spring

I love this neighborhood we're in right now. These pictures were all taken just around the block, crazy cute around here, huh? :) A few years ago I went out and took pictures of the blossoms and ended up enlarging some for our house.

Hope these colors make you happy.

Got it!

Thought of something... I think I'll TRY to be like the ambitious blogger type, and change the header to whatever time of year/holiday it is. So I'll be focusing on getting a cool spring picture. (maybe my girls holding some flowers. eh? now we're talkin) I can't wait to get the blooming trees again this year. I like trees =)

Until I get going on those shots, I'll post a few I took last year in the spring. I can smell the spring air when I look at these. It's not official on the calendar, but as far as I'm concerned spring has begun here.

And for those of you still witnessing the snow, and icicles even...It's beautiful too! We headed up to Midway last week for our anniversary. That was our view out the window.

exploring

Random places. I love those tall trees! (if ya can't tell that's me in the shadow) Anyone want to come with me next time I go out taking pictures of the world in SG?...my kids had a blast. not!

just because

I spent some time up in Midway studying the snow. I feel I'm missing living in it (in some ways). Everything looks so much prettier with snow topping it.
And this guy just happens to be my husband ;) I'm lucky enough to look into these amazing eyes just about every day.

Leaves

So I'm a little bummed I haven't made it to a canyon to really see the leaves change this year....but the other day I was waiting for a fam, and had my camera out. These aren't the most colorful, but I still loved just having one of those moments - soaking in the beauty and watching some of them fall in the wind. I just love the smell....everything about fall.

A bit of this Bride

I kinda couldn't believe I was actually taking pictures of a bride. This was my first, and a dream to me. I feel lucky she picked me to help remember this special time for them. What an adventure this session was - between the learning how to use my new reflector, the search for the memory cards in the pitch dark (oops!), and the creepy mental patient guys, or what about the bee sting! Man, a few bumps, but everything turned out great. I'm so excited for the big day. She's a stunning bride.
