I was really excited when their mom explained what she wanted to get out of this session. I hope I caught them in this stage of their lives - the care and love these 2 sisters have for eachother, very sweet and tender.

Our next door neighbor has been here in Alpine 90 years, about. Cutest man you'll ever meet, and my girls just adore him. He is out on his back porch swinging everyday. He tells us stories of his days delivering newspaper on horseback.


Ava went with me to take the pictures and on the way home we found a colt with his mom.....oh, and what happened, I cried.A beautiful thing watching them together. I didn't take my camera out with us to the field, but came back to see them again and the babe wouldn't get off the ground to get a picture with his mom. For the Love.

So my family blog is private (a big secret. hah, I don't like using that term "private". but it is. and maybe I'm overly PARANOID). And no, I'm not on facebook either. Not my thing, maybe if I ever wanted to grow this business, I'd possibly be apart of all that, but for now this is what you get) I put enough on here, I don't feel so bad. Not everyone needs to know everything right? ;) No, but sorry if you've already seen part of this post.

I had to share! Hilarious kid. She would literally drop the ball straight down and then sit down and wait,wait, and wait.....slowly roll itself. Then, she expressed in the second picture, that she is "way cooler", and the boss of everyone, right?

Nothin like holding off to find something like this off road. The only down is an outhouse is the only option. We left with some of the best avocados on earth...and even some avocado honey.
